Parkdale Montessori School is located in central Ottawa in a residential area known as “The Civic”. 

The Civic is an old neighbourhood with fully matured trees, parks, quiet streets and several children’s playgrounds.  It is only 1km from Dow’s Lake.  It is also less than 3 kms from other Ottawa neighbourhoods such as Westboro, Glebe, Ottawa South, Island Park, Experimental Farm, Little Italy and Chinatown.

The School is located at 555B Parkdale Avenue (best accessible from Warwick Place). 

Directions:

• It is easily reached from the Queensway (Highway 417) by taking the Parkdale Exit and driving one block South toward the Civic Hospital.  Turn East (left) on Sherwood Drive and take your first turn left onto Warwick. The School is located one house down that street, next to St. Matthias Church. 
  
  
• If coming from Carling Avenue, simply take Parkdale North for about four blocks. Then right onto Sherwood Drive and into Warwick Place.
  
  
• For those of you working at the Federal Government’s Tunney Pasture Complex, we are only a few blocks South on Holland then east on Sherwood Drive and onto Warwick.
  
  
• For parents working at the Civic Hospital, we are just behind your work about four blocks. Similarly, those working the Royal Ottawa Hospital, drive two blocks east on Carling Avenue and North on Parkdale Avenue.
  
  
• If you come from downtown, you can easily take the Parkdale Avenue exit and drive one block South, turning at Sherwood Drive and into Warwick Place, or easily get to us via Scott, Gladstone or Summerset Streets and navigating south towards Sherwood Drive.
